UK4u.pl is an information website created for Polish people living in the United Kingdom and for those planning to move to the UK. Our aim is to bring together practical, up-to-date and easy-to-understand information about everyday life, work and important matters in Britain.
Why was UK4u.pl created?
Living in the United Kingdom means dealing with different rules, public services and procedures than in Poland. Even everyday matters – tax, renting a home, annual leave, Council Tax, mortgages or household bills – can be confusing, especially when the information is spread across many different websites.
UK4u.pl is designed to make these topics easier to understand without unnecessary official language. We explain how UK systems work, where to find reliable official information and what is worth paying attention to in practice.
What can you find on UK4u.pl?
- News and Blog – information affected by current rules, rates and changes;
- Guides – practical articles explaining important UK topics step by step;
- Tools – calculators and useful resources that help you check key figures and scenarios quickly;
- Leisure – ideas for places to visit, trips and ways to enjoy your free time in the UK.
Reliable sources matter
For legal, tax, financial, health and administrative topics, we rely primarily on official and primary sources such as GOV.UK, HMRC, NHS, the FCA, the Bank of England, Ofcom, Citizens Advice and local councils.
Where rules, rates or procedures may change, we aim to make the date and context of the information clear. We do not treat artificial intelligence as an independent source of facts – it may support editorial work, but important information should be checked against reliable sources.
Two language versions
UK4u.pl is being developed in both Polish and English. The Polish version is aimed mainly at Polish people living in the UK, while the English version makes the same material accessible to readers who prefer English.
A website shaped by its readers
If you notice outdated information, an error or a topic that deserves a clear explanation, please let us know. UK4u.pl is intended to be a genuinely useful resource for people living in the United Kingdom, so reader feedback is important to us.
